Job Title: Devops Engineer

Client Location: Durham, North Carolina 27703, and Salt Lake City, Utah - Hybrid

Duration: 12 Months Contract

This is fast moving requirement.

Monday to Friday normal business working hours.


A successful candidate has technical depth and hands-on experience with modern practices and tools in the DevOps toolchain.

The Expertise You Have Bachelor's degree 3-5+ years of experience in a DevOps role Strong systems administration expertise Experience with AWS services such as EKS, EC2, ECS and similar effective Pipeline automation and orchestration utilizing the following stack or similar GIT, Jenkins, Maven, JUnit, Docker, JMeter, Artifactory, Sonar, Vericode, Kubernetes Monitoring automation systems such as CloudWatch and Datadog or Splunk.

AWS Certified preferred The Skills You Bring Ability to effectively collaborate in an agile team Willingness to share on-call support rotation with your product team Understanding of networking infrastructure and protocols Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving The Value You Deliver Integrating modern SaaS solutions and vendors with existing systems and services Migrating legacy products to reduce technical debt Sharing operational expertise in a team tackling for DevOps excellence Forever learning and growing your skillsets to help build a well-rounded team Automating yourself.

You'll be spending some of your time onsite depending on the nature and needs of your role.

Another AWS DevOps Engineer like others in this group.

Key to these is experience with Docker, Kubernetes/EKS.

If they don't have advanced deployment experience don't submit.

Strong systems administration expertise

AWS experience

Understanding how a Jenkins file creates and manages a pipeline.

Understanding how to use Maven and how POM files are used to control the libraries Strong EKS Administrator and deployment experience.
