About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a dynamic DevOps Engineering Senior Advisor to join our innovative Artifacts and Deployment team. As part of our Enterprise DevOps Engineering group, you will play a crucial role in building and enhancing DevOps products used across our IT delivery organization. This is a contract position with the potential for long-term engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Drive DevOps best practices, strategize on projects, and support CI/CD tools integration.
• Develop and maintain standards for internal tool usage, ensuring effective utilization by internal users.
• Collaborate directly with internal IT teams, providing guidance on optimal tool usage.
• Take ownership of custom DevOps tools to accelerate time-to-market.
• Conduct hands-on software engineering code reviews and contribute to innovative software tools and technologies.
• Ensure adherence to DevOps enterprise direction and architectural strategies.
• Actively mentor and guide the DevOps team in designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining products and solutions.
• Support JFrog Artifactory and Xray SaaS instances.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in Software Development and Best Practices.
• Significant experience in administering artifact repositories and scanning tools.
• Proficient in JFrog suite tools, focusing on Artifactory and Xray.
• Expertise in the container management lifecycle.
• Familiarity with versioning and release strategies using git/GitHub.
• Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible or Terraform.
• Strong understanding of build tools like Maven, Gradle, or Please.
