This is a brand new, Ground Floor, Green Field to implement a continuous deployment strategy across all products.
This is a Permanent hire position with one of our client companies in the Des Moines / West Des Moines, IA area. This casual and flexible company is searching for a DevOps Engineer / Build Engineer who can Blaze the trail for automation & delivery. You will be a critical part of this team, looking to who can automate critical manual processes, doing test automation, automated deployments, and help build out a “build” / continuous deployment process.
As a Lead DevOps Engineer / Build Engineer, you will not be silo'ed on projects and get to work very closely with the business and be in an impact role! In key position, you will have the opportunity to be in a role where you will be consulted by leadership, give direction, and your opinions will be heard! You will also get the opportunity to do coding and jump in on projects when needed as well. Technical skills needed are : .CI – Continuous Integration experience, Build Tool experience – such as Atlassian, Octopus, Jenkins, etc. Any development experience, specifically NET Development is a huge plus, as well as Scripting.

REQUIREMENTS
* DevOps knowledge or experience with CI Continuous Integration & Delivery
* Build Experience
* Experience working within a SDLC, .NET experience is a plus!
* Any level of software programming experience will be considered
* Ability to lead through change and help guide new processes!
* Ability to communicate with Senior management and throughout the organization!
